From Tuesday 10th September through October, Hampshire County Council will be conducting road traffic surveys on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The surveys will be at around 30 road side sites in the North Hampshire, West Surrey and South Bracknell Forest areas and take no more than 2 minutes each.

At busy sites however, to help keep traffic flowing and keep delays to an absolute minimum, pre-paid postcards will be handed out for people to fill in and return by post.

HCC Councillor Seán Woodward – responsible for transport – said: “The survey results are an important element of the evidence that we need to provide in any bid to secure funding from the Government for future transport capacity improvements.

Hampshire County Council have advised us that whilst there are no planned roadside interviews in the Andover area during September and October, commuters need to be aware that there will be in other areas of North Hampshire.
