Shooters U15’s is a recently established team hailing from the Andover district area. They emerged as a cohesive unit last season when they competed as the Under 14s, making their way into the Test Way League Division Two.
The team is under the astute leadership of Manager Jon Holman, while Coaches Owen Trapnell and Brendon Holmes, who also play for the local town side, provide invaluable guidance. Sporting a diverse range of talents, the team surpassed all expectations, culminating in an undefeated season comprising 16 victories, zero draws, and zero defeats. Impressively, they managed to score 74 goals while conceding a mere 5.
Shooters U15’s harbors the ambition of maintaining their position in Division One of the Test Way League, keeping their competitive spirit intact. They intend to participate in both the League Cup Competition and Hampshire Cup Competition, striving to exemplify the essence of quality football, integrity, and a positive mindset, all while aiming for victory. After each game, a comprehensive report is penned and shared across various platforms, including the Shooters Facebook page, the manager’s personal page, and Instagram.
However, the team has endured a significant setback during the Christmas period with the unfortunate passing of one of their sponsors due to cancer. Additionally, one of the sponsors’ grandchildren has joined another local team, which better suits their requirements. Fortunately, Shooters U15’s have received sponsorship from a benevolent local butcher shop in Ludgershall, who generously provided their training kit. As the father of one of the players, Jon Holman remains steadfast in his commitment to ensuring that each player reaches their full potential.
The ultimate goal of Shooters U15’s is to inspire their players to reach for the stars and touch the clouds by securing spots on their local town team, thus attaining success. To support this vision, the team seeks assistance in acquiring new kits for incoming players, Man of the Match (MOM) trophies, referee and pitch fees, and hopefully, a fresh strip. Given the escalating costs, any form of support would be immensely appreciated. The estimated expenses include £50 for a new individual strip encompassing shirts, shorts, socks, and baselayers, £10 per MOM trophy, £25 per match for referee fees, and approximately £1500 for a complete kit comprising 16 home and away colors, inclusive of printing.
For further information or inquiries, interested parties are encouraged to contact Jon Holman via his mobile number (07802516030), email (Jonathan_Holman@pdhook.co.uk), Facebook, or Instagram. The team extends their gratitude for any support provided.
