Young Martial Artists Harley and Cole Chase Their Dreams at the WAKO European Championships

Harley, aged 8, and Cole, aged 6, are not your typical youngsters. They are fierce and dedicated martial artists who have been members of Fighting Falcons Martial Arts since they were just 6 and 4 years old, respectively. Over the years, they have developed their skills, honed their techniques, and now stand as shining examples of passion and commitment in the world of kickboxing.

Harley, at the tender age of 8, already boasts an impressive list of accomplishments. With two British titles under his belt, along with two North Hants Champion titles, two Bristol Open Champion titles, and a Peterborough 8 and under Open Weight Champion title, he has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with in the ring.

We caught up with Harley earlier this year and you can read about her journey here.

Meanwhile, young Cole, at just 6 years old, is already a British National bronze medalist. His dedication to training and his prowess in the sport have earned him recognition and respect among his peers.

Their achievements did not come without hard work and sacrifice. Harley and Cole put in an incredible amount of time and effort into their training, attending sessions at least three times a week with each training session lasting 2-3 hours. On top of that, they also participate in online training sessions and monthly GB Squad training, always striving to improve and stay at the top of their game.

Their hard work and skill have not gone unnoticed, as they have both earned the privilege of representing Team GB at the prestigious WAKO European Championships. Taking place in August in Turkey, the championship will provide Harley and Cole with the opportunity to compete on an international stage and showcase their talents to the world.

However, kickboxing, unfortunately, lacks the financial support that many other sports enjoy. As a result, all expenses associated with training, equipment, travel, competition fees, and more, must be self-funded. The cost per athlete is approximately £1500, a considerable burden for young athletes and their families to bear.

These remarkable children need your help to achieve their dreams of representing Great Britain at the European Championships. Any donations, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in supporting their journey. Additionally, if you or anyone you know could sponsor Harley and/or Cole, it would make a significant impact on their quest for success.

Your support will not only provide financial assistance but also serve as motivation for Harley and Cole to continue striving for excellence. These young martial artists are the future of kickboxing, and with your help, they can reach new heights and inspire others to pursue their passions as well.
