Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service were called to a property in Cholderton Road, Quarley near near Andover yesterday (Thursday) at around 5:23pm after the thatched roof was reported to be alight.
Appliances arrived within 10 minutes and were confronted with a severe fire involving the roof to the property. Assistance was immediately requested from Hampshire and Wiltshire Fire & Rescue Services.
In total, 10 Firefighting Appliances are attending this incident with another 6 supporting Appliances with approximately 70 firefighters.
