A family pet which was taken from outside a supermarket in Andover has been returned to her family.
Tilly, a two-year-old Jack Russell, was taken from outside Tesco in River Way on Thursday 25th April.
PC Mark Potter from Andover police station said: “Following our various appeals in the media and on social networking sites Tilly was returned safe and well.”
“It appears that the person who took her thought that she had been abandoned and Tilly’s family do not want to make any formal complaint.”
“I would like to thank the community and the media for their help with this appeal. We are very pleased that she has been found safe and well and reunited with her family.”
