Dean Goodwin, the convicted sex offender who attacked a woman in an alleyway in Andover, has been sentecnced to 9 Life Terms after he admitted five rape charges, false imprisonment, robbery and attempted murder.
The 32-year-old convicted sex offender sparked a huge manhunt when he raped a woman in her home on November 23 and was eventually cornered in Poole when armed officers wrestled him to the ground after spotting him running down Bournemouth Road.
A psychiatric report on Goodwin said that he has a severe personality disorder and “is at high risk of reoffending if given the opportunity to do so.“
