Half term holiday havoc at The Lights

Workshops galore and children’s theatre with Lily and the Albatross at The Lights this half term

The Lights will be hosting a whole range of Halloween workshops this half term … from Awesome Autumn with Amanda for little ones aged 1-3 with their grown-up – an interactive autumnal session full of action songs, dancing and craft, to Monster Movie Making Animation for ages 5-7 and 8+, all on 30 October.

Hot on the heels comes Owl’s Whizz Bang Firework Surprise on 31 October – an interactive storytelling workshop at 9.30 or 11am for ages 2-5 and their grown-ups, and the week rounds off with Double Bubble, Toil and Trouble – a play in a day for ages 7-11 years from 10am – 3pm.  The trainee witches and wizards are having problems in their potions class.  When a spell goes wrong they have to think fast and turn disaster into happy ever after!  Come dressed up if you want and create an interactive play to show friends and family at the end of the day.

As if this wasn’t enough, the venue also has a stormy, salty sea story with Lily and the Albatross on 29 October at 11am.  This is a tale about a family of three, the legend of Great Captain Markham, and how they learn to fly in the face of a storm.

The show is brought to you by Tall Tree Theatre and is suitable for ages 5+
