Police are appealing to the public to try and trace the owner of the medal after it was found near Folly Roundabout in Andover on Tuesday 17th December.
It has a Northern Ireland bar on the top and a “For campaign service” inscription on the back of the medal.
Inspector Paul Markham said: “This could have huge sentimental value for the person who has lost it.
“A member of the public handed it in at Andover Police Station so we are now appealing for the public’s help to try and trace the owner.”
If you know who it might belong to, or it belongs to you, please call Andover Police Station on 101.
