If you think nothing happens in Andover then today (Saturday, 12th October) you’re in for a surprise as the town plays host to an Italian Market, a Homecoming Parade and a local band kicking off a UK tour.
In addition to these events today (Saturday) there is also a bumper market on Sunday.
Italian Market
Identifiable by the striking red, white and green stalls and decorated with flags, the market provides an opportunity to sample the delicious flavours of Italy and take some authentic Italian ingredients home to inspire midweek suppers.
Homecoming Parade
Over 400 soldiers from 22 Engineer Regiment of the Corps of Royal Engineers will be celebrating their safe return from a six month tour of duty in Afghanistan by marching through the streets of Andover at 10.30am today.

Live Music
Sondura hit their hometown again before they head out on their string of UK tour dates. They will be playing at The George with doors opening at 7:00pm and the band on from 8:30pm. Don’t miss Sondura’s last local show of 2013!
