Test Valley Borough Council is encouraging residents to take part in a Marvellous Money Saving Trail across Andover on Wednesday 11th December from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

With Christmas fast approaching and lots of people feeling the pinch, a variety of local organisations have joined forces to offer advice, support and hints and tips about how residents can save money.

Those wishing to join take part in the trail can pick up a flyer from:

  • TVBC Beech Hurst office
  • Aster Communities
  • Andover Library
  • Blue Onion
  • Andover Adult and Family Learning
  • Andover Leisure Centre.

The flyer can also be downloaded from the council’s website by searching for the event under the ‘What’s on’ section or using the links below:

  1. It’s a Cracker – Money Saving Trail (Poster)
  2. Money Trail (Poster & Trail)
  3. Evaluation (Entry Form)

It includes a map and information about which venues to visit and how to complete the trail. At each venue, there will be a range of great activities for people of all ages to enjoy.

Organisations including Aster Communities, Andover Adult and Family Learning and Valley Leisure will be on hand to provide information about how to budget effectively and reduce spending.

Hampshire Credit Union is also taking part from its new temporary home in the pop-up shop at 4 Bridge Street.

As well as picking up some great information along the way, participants will be in with a chance of winning a host of great prizes, including a £50 High Street voucher!
