As a new initiative, every Tuesday starting Tuesday 13th August 2013 Phil Cockcroft, landlord of the Southampton Arms in Winchester Road, Andover, has agreed to open from 6pm for young adults from the age of 13 to 17 only.
No alcoholic drinks will be served on these evenings, though soft drinks and refreshments will be available.
The aim is to give younger people in Andover a place to meet and talk in an informal setting, and the landlord will allow free use of the juke box and pool table on these evenings.
