Asda Andover welcomed the Veterans in Action (V.I.A.) into Asda foyer recently where they held an information table and collection bucket and raised an impressive £811.98.

Mr. Billy Macleod runs V.I.A. in Andover-who help veterans with transition to civilian life. They have managed to raise over £300K over the last three years by their own efforts.

For a number of our Armed Service personnel the thought of leaving the services can be a daunting prospect. Some find difficulty reintegrating into society and can carry traumatic memories or injuries with them. VIA’s ALIVE programme has been designed to help re-discover personal attributes such as self esteem and self belief.

Funds raised are invested in training veterans through accredited and recognised courses leading to future employment opportunities.
