Andover War Memorial Hospital is hopefully set to benefit from a share of the £3.3 million cash injection given to the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for this winter.
The trust, which runs Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester hospitals, is one of 53 trusts to get a share of a £250m funding pot set aside by Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
The money is set to help the trust with the extra work caused by the seasonal increase in patients during the winter months.
