Today (Monday 30th September) saw the official opening of Andover’s second Wimpy, this one in Bridge Street – previously the Andover Kebab House.
The takeaway was officially opened by Hampshire County Councillor Tony Hooke who was joined by owner Ali together with Wimpy Area Manager Simon Noble and Wimpy Director Chris Woolfenden.
Ali told Andover Town: “To celebrate the opening, I am going to donate the first week of profits from the Bridge Street takeaway to a charity“.
The Bridge Street takeaway will be open Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 11:30pm and Saturday from 11:30am to 12:30am.
The two Wimpy’s are local franchises employing 48 staff between the Bridge Street and High Street units.
